Guthrie\u2019s neighbor, Brett McIntire, told The Post on Thursday that he reported seeing the unmarked van to the police, who asked him basic questions about what he observed in the days\u00a0leading up to the disappearance\u00a0of Savannah Guthrie\u2019s 84-year-old mother.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was somewhere on that street. It was a white van, full-sized, with no printing on the sides. It was parked on the street,\u201d said McIntire, who lives across from Nancy.<\/p>\n

His wife, Lisa McIntire, said they are now considering getting security cameras despite having a \u201cpretty secure residence.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Guthrie was reported missing on Sunday, and the investigation was declared a criminal probe on Monday.<\/p>\n

    Police said at a press conference on Thursday afternoon that they believed Nancy was \u201cstill out there\u201d and hoped to get her home as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

    A ransom note sent to local and national news outlets did not include any proof of life nor a way for law enforcement or her family to communicate with the sender.<\/p>\n

    Savannah and her two siblings issue a video statement on Wednesday, pleading with their mom\u2019s possible abductor for her safe return.<\/p>\n

    \u201cWe need to know, without a doubt, that she is alive, and that you have her. We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen. Please, reach out to us,\u201d Savannah said in an appeal.<\/p>\n
