Guthrie and Orchard tied the knot in December 2005, but ended up filing for divorce in 2009.<\/p>\n
While she hasn\u2019t opened up about her marriage to Orchard throughout the years, Guthrie did make a short comment on the breakup in July 2025.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t want to talk about getting divorced,\u201d she said on an episode of Monica Lewinsky\u2019s \u201cReclaiming\u201d podcast. \u201cIt was horrible and sad and it broke my heart. It took me years to recover. I\u2019m not blaming anyone but I don\u2019t really want to get into it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Following Guthrie\u2019s 2009 divorce, she found love once again and married Feldman in 2014. The pair welcomed daughter Vale that same year and son Charley in 2016.<\/p>\n

Over two decades since her divorce from Orchard, Guthrie published a series of personal essays called Mostly What God Does. The book included a disclaimer to readers to let them know that Guthrie wasn\u2019t going to touch on some personal matters because they were \u201ctoo personal and too embarrassing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m down here and my feet are burning on the pavement \u2014 I just don\u2019t want to tell you why the pavement was so hot or how many blisters I had on my feet,\u201d the disclaimer read. \u201cI don\u2019t want to give you the gory details. But I do want to share with you and I understand that you may have these questions and maybe this won\u2019t be enough for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nIn an interview with Us Weekly, Guthrie said she was 36 when she got divorced and \u201cwasn\u2019t married long,\u201d which was a \u201chuge disappointment\u201d to her.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was pretty sure that I had lost my opportunity [to have kids] and more or less ruined my life,\u201d she explained. \u201cAll I ever really wanted was to fall in love, be a mom and have a family. I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s acceptable to admit these days, but that\u2019s kind of how I was. I wanted to do something important and meaningful, but I really wanted a family.\u201d<\/p>\n

On an episode of Lewinsky\u2019s \u201cReclaiming\u201d podcast, Guthrie said she didn\u2019t \u201cwant to talk about getting divorced because \u201cit was horrible\u201d and \u201csad\u201d and took her \u201cyears to recover.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not blaming anyone, but I really don\u2019t want to get into it,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n

\nGuthrie detailed feeling like a \u201cfailure\u201d after her divorce from Orchard during an appearance on the the \u201cJoy Rides\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n
\u201cProbably the most difficult time was when I was getting separated and divorced from my first husband,\u201d she said. \u201cI was in my 30s. I felt old, but I now see that I was pretty young, and I was sad about it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Guthrie continued, \u201cAnd I was also starting a new job at a place called NBC and trying really hard to make my way and make my little dream come true while other dreams were falling apart. And it made me have to really dig deep, and I felt like a failure.\u201d<\/p>\n
