Barbabella also noted a colonoscopy from 2024 revealed a benign polyp and diverticulitis. A follow-up is scheduled in three years.

The report disclosed Trump takes medication for cholesterol, heart health, and a skin condition. He also underwent bilateral cataract surgery and maintains what Barbabella called “robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function.”

Bruised Hands Raise Eyebrows

Despite the clean bill of health, Trump has repeatedly appeared in public with bruising on his hands. The first notable instance was during last year’s hush-money trial. He showed up with a mark on his dominant hand.

Dr. Ola Otulana, a general practitioner in the UK, said the bruises appear to be superficial contusions—likely caused by minor trauma or medical procedures like blood draws.

Older adults, he explained, have thinner skin and more fragile blood vessels, making them more prone to bruising. He added that blood thinners or anti-inflammatory medications can cause bruises to appear more easily and last longer.

“It doesn’t raise any immediate red flags,” Dr. Otulana said.

Viral Speculation: Is Trump Wearing a Catheter?

Health rumors didn’t stop with hand bruises. On June 9, an image of Trump at a UFC event went viral. Some online users claimed he was wearing a catheter beneath his suit.

The photo showed UFC champion Kayla Harrison placing a belt around Trump’s waist. Posts on social media claimed a visible line down Trump’s pants was tubing for a Foley catheter.

One viral post speculated that he might be receiving infusion therapy or showing signs of Parkinson’s-related weakness.

Others Push Back on the Claims

Not everyone agreed. Some users dismissed the catheter theory as pure speculation, suggesting the line in Trump’s trousers was simply a crease.

“Foley catheters are not standard except post-surgery,” one commenter wrote. “That line is just a crease in his pants.”
