Nicole Kidman Stood By Husband Keith Urban As The Received The Entertainer Of The Year At The CMA Awards

When celebrities get married, we often don’t give them the credit that they deserve. Like anyone, they are in love with each other and they have every desire to share their lives from that moment forward.

There are times when divorces may take place, and some of them can be very public and very ugly. Such isn’t the case with Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. She has been there for him since they got married in 2006.

They also have some extreme talents on their own, and Keith Urban is certainly known for his musical prowess. At the 2018 Country Music Association Awards, the world got to see something special. He won the Entertainer of the Year Award.

As you can imagine, his wife, Nicole Kidman, was there by his side and she was smiling as big as possible. She was there to see her country music husband take home the award that he deserved so much.

They matched very well for the occasion, both wearing black and looking good together. They were a happy couple that had already been married for 12 years, and that was some seven years ago.

Keith was wearing a rather simple outfit, as he had on a green T-shirt and blue jeans but he also had on a plad blazer. He was there to accept the biggest award of the night, and he gave a speech that gave thanks to his fans and mentioned his late father.

As he looked out into the audience and thanked his wife, you could tell that he was holding back the tears. In fact, he wasn’t able to hold them back completely during that moment.

This is the second time that Keith Urban has won Entertainer of the Year at the Country Music Association Awards. Earlier, he had won the trophy in 2005, the year before he was married to Nicole Kidman.

During that night, he would be on the stage more than once. Not only did he accept his award, he also put on a performance with Ricky Skaggs, who had recently been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Later, Keith was up to bring the crowd to their feet, and that included his wife. He was playing the song, ‘Never Coming Down.’ You can see some of those moments in the following video:
