CNN’s Scott Jennings shared videos of Israeli warplanes flying over his hotel in Tiberius, near the Sea of Galilee, on Thursday night. From his balcony, he watched jets soar west to east. Jennings tracked emergency alerts but did not feel immediately threatened. “Definitely not getting out today. Lol,” he told the Daily Mail.

The most tense moments came while awaiting Iran’s anticipated retaliation. Relief washed over once reports confirmed all incoming drones had been intercepted successfully.

On Friday evening, the Israeli military warned civilians to seek shelter as dozens of Iranian ballistic mi.ss.il.es targeted the country. During a rocket attack in Jerusalem, Scott Jennings was moved to a safe room. He observed that locals remained calm throughout and praised the Israeli military’s effective response, expressing that he felt secure amid the chaos.
