Donald Trump Condemns Vandalism at Scottish Golf Resort, Calls for Swift Justice

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a strong response following an incident of vandalism at his prestigious Trump Turnberry golf resort in Scotland.

The property, which holds personal significance to Trump and is a key symbol of his global business empire, was targeted in the early hours of March 8.

According to police reports, red paint was sprayed across the clubhouse and damage was inflicted on the carefully maintained greens. Authorities arrived at the scene around 4:40 AM. Kieran Robson, 33, was arrested and charged with malicious mischief but was later released on bail.

Two other individuals—a 75-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman—were also detained in connection with the incident and released pending further investigation.
Trump addressed the situation on his social media platform, Truth Social, calling the attack “disgraceful” and stating that those responsible should be “treated harshly.” He commended UK law enforcement for their quick response and expressed full support for their ongoing investigation.

“This kind of behavior is unacceptable,” Trump wrote. “Vandalizing property—especially a place that represents years of dedication and hard work—is not a form of protest, it’s a criminal act.”

While Trump mentioned that three individuals were in custody, official confirmation has only been given for Robson’s charges.
The police have not yet released further updates on the status of the investigation, though inquiries are still underway.

In response to the incident, Trump has reportedly increased security at the resort and pledged to work closely with law enforcement to ensure that those responsible are held fully accountable.

He reiterated that while political disagreements are part of a free society, resorting to destruction of property is never justifiable.
The attack has reignited conversations about the boundaries of political expression. Critics of Trump’s policies and legacy remain vocal, but many have agreed that acts of vandalism are counterproductive and harmful.

Trump Turnberry, one of Scotland’s most famous golf resorts, has hosted numerous major tournaments and stands as one of the most high-profile properties in the Trump Organization portfolio.

For Trump, the resort is more than a business—it is a personal achievement and a reflection of his brand.

As the legal process unfolds, Trump’s firm stance highlights his enduring message: respect for law, property, and civil discourse.

The former president made clear he expects justice to be served swiftly and decisively.
