WITNESS REVEALS CHILLING DETAILS ABOUT MISSING ALABAMA STUDENT’S FINAL MOMENTS

New details have emerged in the tragic death of 20-year-old University of Alabama student James “Jimmy” Gracey, whose body was recovered in Barcelona after a days-long search. Gracey had been in Spain for spring break with friends and was last seen around 3 a.m. leaving the Shôko beachfront nightclub near the Mediterranean. His body was later found near Port Olímpic, confirming the worst fears of his family and friends.

A local witness has since shared chilling details, saying Gracey was seen walking toward a rocky area near Somorrostro Beach. Authorities believe he may have fallen into the sea and drowned, though an autopsy is still pending. His wallet was also found floating in the water. Police continue investigating his final movements. Surveillance footage reportedly shows Gracey leaving the nightclub with an unidentified person, and officials are working to determine their identity.

Witnesses also recall him speaking with a young American woman inside the club. His disappearance sparked a frantic search when he failed to return to his Airbnb. His mother publicly pleaded for help, describing what he was last wearing. Following the recovery, Gracey’s family confirmed his death in a heartbreaking statement, describing him as a deeply loved son, brother, and friend.

They thanked the public and authorities for their support while asking for privacy. Friends and classmates remembered Gracey as kind, faithful, and full of life. The University of Alabama also expressed its sorrow. As the investigation continues, many questions remain about what happened that night, leaving a community mourning a life lost far too soon.
