Sen. Cory Booker, often mentioned as a rising Democratic leader and possible 2028 presidential candidate,
is now married. The New Jersey senator wed real estate professional Alexis Lewis in two small ceremonies in November 2025 —
one at a federal courthouse in Newark and another in Washington, D.C.

Booker first announced their engagement in September, writing, “Alexis is one of the greatest unearned blessings of my life.”
He also said she helped him “discover the joys of building a nurturing home with someone you love.”

The couple met on a blind date in 2024, which Booker later described as “even better than the first” as their relationship grew.
By mid-2025, they had been together for more than a year and a half.
Public interest in Booker’s future increased after the wedding,
but he has not said whether he will run for president again.
For now, the couple is focused on their life together.
