A strange online conspiracy movement has recently targeted Charlie Kirk and his wife, Erika
After Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, “was killed on September 10 during a live debate event”, online attention shifted heavily toward Erika, who took over leadership of the organization.
Her increased visibility in politics sparked a wave of baseless claims from conspiracy groups.
One Facebook community shared old pageant photos of Erika and insisted she is secretly transgender, relying only on appearance-based assumptions.
Comments included: “That is a man, as most pageant winners are,” and “almost all models… are mostly [trans women].”
Another user added, “That’s why Charlie Kirk seemed so feminine and emasculated because she was a transgender handler.”
These accusations stem from a fringe trend called “transvestigating,” which falsely tries to “expose” public figures as transgender using pseudo-scientific image comparisons.
Despite its confidence, the movement presents no credible evidence—yet anyone, including Erika, can become a target.
