Born on May 11, 1992, Bobi was the runt of the litter that almost didn’t make it. His owner’s family had too many animals, so the puppies were supposed to be put down… but little Bobi hid in a pile of firewood and survived! Fast-forward three decades, and this chill farm dog has outlived wars, pandemics, and countless viral trends – all while living the ultimate relaxed life: no leash, human food scraps, fresh air, and endless love from the Costa family.

In February 2023, Guinness officially crowned him the oldest living dog AND the oldest dog ever, beating the previous record held by Bluey (an Australian cattle dog who made it to 29 back in 1939).
