Leaked Documents Reveal DSA’s Alleged Influence on Mayor Zohran Mamdani
New York City’s politics are in turmoil after Just the News released documents reportedly showing the
Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) plan to push new mayor Zohran Mamdani toward anti-Israel policies.
The 34-year-old socialist and first Muslim mayor of New York rose to power after
defeating Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa, promising a “historic mandate for change.”
However, the leaked files—said to come from the DSA’s Anti-War Working Group—outline goals to make City Hall “a testing ground for socialist and anti-Israel policies.”
Reported proposals include divesting city funds from Israeli bonds, ending contracts with Israeli-linked companies, and
removing nonprofit status from charities supporting the IDF.
Mamdani, listed as one of nine “New York State Socialists in Office,” previously appeared at DSA events, once stating,
“When the boot of the NYPD is on your neck, it has been laced by the IDF.”
Critics cite the remark as proof of alignment with DSA’s agenda.
Supporters call his election “a moment of hope.” Opponents warn it marks a radical shift—potentially making New York City ground zero for a new ideological battle.
