A New Chapter
Robin Wright, 59, known for The Princess Bride, Forrest Gump, and House of Cards,
is starting a new chapter with architect Henry Smith.
The couple recently rented a home by the English seaside.
“It’s liberating to be done. Be done with searching,
looking and getting 60 percent of what you wanted,” Wright said.
Life in England
Wright, who spent most of her life in California, called America “a s—show.”
She added, “There’s a freedom of self here.
People are so kind… Everything’s rush, competition and speed.”
Finding Love
Wright met Smith in a pub: “He goes, ‘Who the f— are you?’
And I said, ‘Who the f— are you?’ And that was it.”
She calls him “a sweetheart and just a good, decent adult. He’s a man.”
Looking Ahead
Feeling seen and loved, Wright reflects on companionship:
“I finally feel seen and loved for who I am.”
She plans to grow old with Smith, share adventures, and travel the world.
