states, with over 70 confirmed human cases and the first reported death. Experts warn the virus’s evolution could spark a new pandemic if human-to-human transmission becomes more likely. With nearly 1,000 dairy herds infected and over 168 million birds affected since 2022, officials are urging stronger safety measures and vaccine development.
