Boyfriend of Kirk Suspect ‘Vanishes’ As Neighbors Share Chilling Info

The boyfriend of Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer has left the Utah condominium he once shared with the accused gunman, and neighbors say he has not returned.

Lance Twiggs, 22, was taken in for questioning after police searched the three-bedroom St. George property he shared with Tyler Robinson, 22, who is charged in Kirk’s death.
Residents said Twiggs, a part-time plumber, has not been seen at the condo since. His car remains parked outside, with work equipment left inside. Mail and packages have accumulated at the doorstep, and lights in the upstairs rooms have reportedly been on for more than a week.
The home is owned by Twiggs’s family, who are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Daily Mail reported.
“If he ever comes back, it will be in a body bag,” said one neighbor. “That’s not a threat – I’m just saying that there are so many people who want a piece of him he’d be mad to show his face in public again. This was a generational event.”
Twiggs has not been charged in connection with the Sept. 10 shooting at Utah Valley University in Orem, where Tyler Robinson is accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
While speculation has swirled about whether Twiggs knew of the plot, no evidence has emerged linking the 22-year-old to the crime, the outlet reported. Authorities have described Twiggs, who was transitioning from male to female, as a “cooperating human source.”
An FBI source said Twiggs qualifies as a “significant and essential witness” in the case and could be eligible for federal witness protection. The source did not confirm whether Twiggs had accepted such protection.
Twiggs’s parents, Tyler, 49, an insurance broker, and Amy, 50, a former college gymnast, live about five miles away but have not commented publicly on their child’s whereabouts. The family has three other children, and Tyler is the son of Jerry Twiggs, 72, a well-known pediatrician who owns multiple properties in the St. George area, the Daily Maile noted.
An eyewitness told the outlet that Twiggs was not handcuffed when police escorted them from the apartment following Robinson’s Sept. 12 arrest.
Officers seated Twiggs on the ground while dogs searched the unit for explosives before FBI agents carried out a full search of the Fossil Hills complex residence, said the report.
“He was wearing a white t-shirt and sweatpants. They just sat him on the step and said the FBI are going to be here soon to ask you some questions,” the source told the Daily Mail. “He didn’t say anything, no emotion at all really. Tyler and Lance were super reclusive. They just looked like two guys to me.”
Robinson faces the death penalty if convicted of the aggravated murder of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, 31.
Kirk, a father of two, prominent Trump ally, was fatally shot in the neck during a campus debate on Sept. 10, the first stop of a planned 15-leg speaking tour.
Prosecutors last week released text messages between Robinson and his partner, Lance Twiggs, which appeared to indicate Twiggs was unaware of Robinson’s plans.
“You weren’t the one who did it right????” Twiggs asked Robinson in the texts. “I am, I’m sorry,” Robinson allegedly responded before imploring Twiggs to “delete this exchange.”
But in another message, it appeared as though Twiggs may have had an inkling of what Robinson had planned, with the latter asking his trans partner: “Remember how I was engraving bullets?”
The remark is believed to reference anti-fascist slogans inscribed on shell casings recovered with the alleged murder weapon, an antique rifle once owned by Robinson’s grandfather.
Neighbors said Robinson had lived with Twiggs for the past three years. A third roommate later moved out of the upscale complex, which includes a pool, hot tub, and gym, leaving Robinson and Twiggs, who had entered into a romantic relationship and were seen together frequently.
