In the wake of her husband’s tragic assassination, Erika Kirk has been sharing intimate glimpses of the life she and Charlie Kirk built together. On Friday, she posted a heartwarming video that quickly went viral, capturing Charlie in full “dad mode,” teaching their young daughter the basics of physics.
Newton’s Laws at the Kitchen Table
The clip, which has already surpassed 1.3 million likes, shows the Turning Point USA founder sitting at a table with his daughter, using her sippy cup and a pair of sunglasses to walk through Newton’s three laws of motion.

“Okay, see that’s the issue, you keep on thinking when you drop [your sippy cup], it comes back up, but it doesn’t, okay?” he jokingly explained to his daughter as she appeared to be preparing to drop her cup.
He explained that an object at rest stays at rest, every action has an equal and opposite reaction, and that force equals mass times acceleration. Then he looked at his daughter and asked, “Any questions?”
Erika’s Tribute
Erika shared the video with a heartfelt caption: “My favorite memories will forever be us raising our babies together. I love you [Charlie Kirk]. Tell Sir Isaac Newton that GG is ready for her quiz.”
Her post struck a chord online, reminding millions that beyond his public persona as a firebrand activist, Charlie was also a devoted husband and father.
Remembering Charlie Kirk
Charlie Kirk, 31, was assassinated during a debate event at Utah Valley University on September 10. He is survived by Erika and their two young children, whose names have not been made public.
Since his death, Erika has shared several family memories, painting a picture of her husband as not just a political leader but a loving father who treasured quiet moments at home.
A Legacy Beyond Politics
The video resonated deeply with viewers, many of whom commented on how rare it was to see Kirk outside of the political spotlight. It revealed a softer side — a man patient enough to teach physics with a sippy cup, and playful enough to make learning fun for his toddler.
For Erika, it was a reminder of the little things that defined their life together. “Raising our babies with you,” she wrote, “will forever be my favorite memory.”
