Charlie Kirk’s wife breaks silence for the first time since his assassination

Charlie Kirk’s wife delivered an emotional livestream where she thanked supporters and promised to continue her husband’s mission.

Erika Kirk, wife of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, gave her first public address on Friday evening, only hours after authorities announced the arrest of the man accused of assassinating her husband.

Speaking from the studio where Charlie once recorded, Erika addressed an online audience of more than 200,000 viewers just after 8:25 p.m.

With tears in her eyes, she praised JD Vance and his wife for standing by her, and she called President Trump’s family “phenomenal.” Looking into the camera, she cried, “President Trump, Charlie loved you very, very much.”

Carrying On His Mission

She revealed that Kirk once told her privately that if he ever ran for president, his mission would be to “revive the American family.” Her words carried both grief and determination.

“I will never have the words to describe the loss in my heart. Our world is full of evil but our God is good,” she said. “No one will forget my husband’s name. His mission will not end, not even for a moment.”

She also vowed to expand his work: “I will never let your legacy die. I will make Turning Point the biggest cause this nation has ever seen.”

The livestream took a deeply personal turn when she spoke about their young daughter. “Our daughter ran into my arms, she’s three. She asked, ‘Where is daddy?’ I told her, ‘Daddy is on a work trip with Jesus.’”

Erika called Charlie a perfect father who loved his children, his country, and his faith. He loved me with all his heart. And he made sure I knew that every day, she said, before smiling briefly and adding “Go Ducks” in honor of his favorite Oregon sports team.

Faith in the Midst of Loss

Wearing a cross necklace, Erika leaned on scripture, quoting “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” She reminded listeners that “our world is full of evil, but our God is good,” and urged supporters to join a church if they had not already. “This battle is not political, it’s spiritual. Charlie loved his savior more than anything.”

Behind her, a photo of Charlie was displayed with the words: “May Charlie be received into the merciful arms of Jesus, our loving savior.”

The livestream captured heartbreak, faith, and the unshakable promise that Charlie Kirk’s name and mission will live on.
