The conservative movement has been left reeling after President Donald Trump
announced that Charlie Kirk, 31, has died from injuries sustained in Wednesday’s shooting at Utah Valley University.
Trump’s Heartfelt Tribute
In a solemn message on Truth Social late Wednesday, Trump broke the devastating news:
“The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead.
No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie.
He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us.
Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”
The post confirmed what supporters had been fearing since Kirk was rushed into emergency
surgery after being shot in the neck during a Q&A with students.

Kirk, the CEO of Turning Point USA, had become one of the most prominent voices of conservatism on college campuses, r
allying students with fiery speeches and unapologetic defense of his beliefs.
