Awkward moment Donald Trump gets laughed at in own Town Hall after making bizarre claim about presidency

When Donald Trump answered to a question about his biggest blunder so far while discussing his first 100 days back in the Oval Office, the audience erupted in laughter.

On April 29, Trump commemorated the 100-day anniversary as the 47th president with public appearances, interviews, and a Truth Social post pronouncing it ‘100 very special days’.

As part of the activities, the President participated in a NewsNation Town Hall hosted by Chris Cuomo, who was joined by panelists Bill O’Reilly and Stephen A. Smith, as well as Democratic and Republican political strategists.

During the meeting, Trump discussed the imposition of high tariffs and asserted that a number of countries were phoning the US’morning, noon, and night’ to attempt to reach new trade agreements – but when asked about his failures, the president struggled to respond.

Footage from the event shows the hosts reading out an audience question which said: “What’s the biggest mistake you think you’ve made in the first 100 days?”

The question was met with a few moments of silence, followed by Trump saying: “I’ll tell you that’s the toughest question I can have…”

The audience started to sound a few laughs at this, but it seemed like the whole crowd erupted into laughter as the president continued.

“… because I don’t really believe I’ve made mistakes,” he said.

The audience response comes after many of Trump’s policies in the first 100 days have stirred controversy, including his administration’s revelation that one Maryland parent was erroneously deported from the United States due to ‘administrative error’.

In other words, an error.

However, a few claps from members of the crowd indicated that some listeners agreed with the President and his activities since returning to the White House.

Explaining his attitude, Trump stated that the country is in a ‘transition era’ and will have ‘tremendous economic successes’ in the future.
