The program offers participants free commercial flights and a $1,000 stipend upon confirmed departure from the United States. According to DHS, this approach could reduce deportation costs by as much as 70% compared to traditional enforcement methods. Migrants interested in participating must register through the CBP Home app, with the stipend distributed only after their departure is verified.
