Trump Responds Sharply to New Epstein Photos and Footage
Donald Trump dismissed questions about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein with a blunt six-word reply. The response came after new photos and videos surfaced, revealing more about their past connection.
Trump’s Previous Promises on Epstein Files
During his recent presidential campaign, Trump said he would have “no problem” releasing files tied to Epstein if elected. In February 2025, Attorney General Pamela Bondi released what was called the “first phase” of declassified Epstein documents. However, by July, Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) announced it found “no basis” to release any more files. The DOJ also confirmed there was “no incriminating client list” in the documents.
Speculation Grows as DOJ Halts Further Releases
The DOJ’s decision not to disclose more files sparked public speculation that Trump might be hiding information about Epstein. When reporters pressed him, Trump retorted, “Are people still talking about this guy? This creep? That is unbelievable.”
Although Trump later announced plans to release grand jury materials related to Epstein, he tried to end the conversation when asked about recently uncovered images from 1993.
New Footage Reveals Epstein at Trump’s Wedding
CNN’s KFile obtained footage showing Epstein attended Trump’s second wedding to Marla Maples in 1993. The photos include moments of Trump and Epstein laughing together at a 1999 Victoria’s Secret fashion show in New York.
The wedding photographer, Dafydd Jones, told CNN he recognized Epstein at the event, having previously photographed Epstein and Trump at the Harley Davidson Cafe in New York that same year. Jones said, “I wish now I took more photos of him with Trump.” Unfortunately, some negatives were lost.
Trump’s Strong Denial and White House Statement
When asked about the wedding photos, Trump called CNN’s report “fake news” and replied simply, “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung issued a longer statement, saying the photos are “out-of-context frame grabs” used to suggest something nefarious. He added, “The President kicked him out of his club for being a creep. This is just another fake news story from Democrats and liberal media.”
Long-Standing Yet Strained Relationship
Trump and Epstein have known each other since the 1980s. They often attended the same social events. However, in the mid-2000s, their relationship reportedly soured over a major real estate deal in Palm Beach.
