We\’re praying for you, Donny ❤️

Donny Osmond is one of the most beloved singers and entertainers in the US. While he’s had a fantastic career, he’s also encountered some health issues, and on Wednesday, he shared a new video of himself in a hospital bed being sedated. Fans now show their concern for the former The Osmonds star.

Donny Osmond hadn’t even turned six before he was a professional entertainer, and he has been chased by die-hard fans all his life. The superstar, now 67, has had several health issues throughout the years, and when he was still young, he was actually close to losing one of his eyes.

When speaking with Metro, Donny recalled a time in Manchester, in the center of “crazy Osmondmania,” when he almost lost an eye.

“I was walking into this hotel, and all these fans started rushing towards me. And one girl was just making a beeline. She had an autograph book in one hand and a pen in the other, and she gets to me and just wraps her arms around me as hard as she could, and the pen came around and hits me right [in the eye]. Almost took my eye out,” Osmond said.

OSmond has had many health issues throughout his life, and in 2019, at his and his sister Marie’s last Las Vegas residency concert, he felt something was wrong. He told the Mirror that he couldn’t feel his arms, and suddenly, he couldn’t feel his legs either.

“I didn’t tell anyone what was happening to me……I just kept dancing and finished the show.”

Donny Osmond shares new video from hospital bed
Osmond went to his doctor, and it turned out that he had a problem coming; his spine had shifted partly due to injuries sustained when he won the 2009 season of Strictly Come Dancing. Donny underwent back and neck surgery, and everything seemed okay at the time. However, what came next would be a shock.

“I thought everything was going to be fine, but it couldn’t have been worse,” Donny explained. “I got a secondary infection which meant I wasn’t able to move.”

Donny Osmond had to rehab for months and had to rely on a walking stick even to get around. He was worried that he would never be able to walk again, but luckily, things turned out for the better.

Sadly, Osmond is now back at the hospital and is being flooded with messages of support. Through his Instagram, Donny shared a video of him wearing a hospital gown and a NASA cannula while medical staff took care of him in the operating room. He was pictured having several tubes attached to him.

Express reported he appeared to have been placed under a “mild sedative” and began singing as doctors performed the surgery. Someone in the background said, “When are you going to start singing?”

Donny Osmond then began singing the Disney classic “Let’s Get Down to Business,” from the 1998 movie Mulan.

Fans show their support
“I’m starting to get dizzy,” Donny said as the sedation kicked in before he fell asleep. The clip then continued with Donny waking up and continuing to sing.

“What better way to power through a procedure than singing your alltime favorite rally song?! I’m feeling all better now!” Donny wrote in the caption to the clip shared on his Instagram page.

“Oh this hurt my heart. Feel better soon,” one fan commented.

A second said, “Oh my goodness, I loved that except for the fact you had to have surgery. Glad you’re all better now!”

“Sending you healing energy and so much love,” a third commented, while a fourth wrote, “So sorry to hear. Get well soon.”
